The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified K-8 certified long term substitute teacher for the position of Grade 1 teacher beginning February 26, 2024 for remainder of school year.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the successful history of teaching at the elementary level. The candidate will be responsible for teaching all core subjects and content areas with experience with the workshop model. Teachers College Writing and Reading Units of Study and Reveal Math preferred, a thorough understanding of the common core standards, the ability to collaborate within and among teams and with parents, experience with planning and implementing Response to Intervention, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment, the ability to organize, track and analyze data to inform instruction. *Must have current Maine state certification with 020 endorsement
