ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION
(7 Hours per day / 35 Hours per week / 37 weeks per year)

The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified individual to work alongside a lead teacher and another staff member to develop and deliver curriculum to high school students in a non-traditional setting.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with small groups of teenagers in a variety of content areas.  Strong classroom management skills are essential.  Experience with trade-related occupations and/or fluency in science and mathematics are a plus.  While not essential, the ideal candidate will have experience working with teenagers who have struggled in the standard educational environment.

* MAINE STATE ED TECH III and CHRC CERTIFICATION REQUIRED*
