The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified, certified K-8 music teacher. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a district music department as well as be student-centered with a strong knowledge of content, including best practices in grades 4-8 music instruction, an understanding of standards-based assessment, the ability to use technology in instruction and the willingness to support the mission of the school department. The position requires the ability to facilitate after school band instruction (grades 4-8) and beginning choral instruction (grades 4-5) for an additional stipend.
