SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - FUNCTIONAL LIFE SKILLS
Lisbon Community School
The Lisbon Community School is seeking a long term substitute Special Education Functional Life Skills Teacher, grades K-2. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction to students in reading, writing and math as well as supervise Ed Techs who assist with instruction and class support. Knowledge and/or experience working with students with Autism and/or Intellectual Disability is helpful, along with knowledge of AAC devices. The candidate is also expected to perform case management duties, including data collection, monitoring accommodations in the regular education setting, and attending IEP meetings as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: CHRC, Maine Certification 282 preferred
