CONTENT LITERACY SUPPORT TEACHER
(2022/2023 School Year)
The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified Teacher to join our team at Philip W. Sugg Middle School. The successful candidate will be responsible for all duties associated with a regular classroom teaching position with a primary focus on literacy through the content lenses of social studies, science. The candidate will have a history of effective literacy instruction, data driven decision-making, and a thorough understanding of the RTI process. The position may also include providing a reading intervention during the day as well as a potential opportunity to team-teach classes to support literacy needs.
Appropriate certification preferred. Maine State certification with related endorsement; Masters in Literacy preferred but not required.
