Grade 5 Math/Science Teacher
(2023/2024 school year)
The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified teacher for the position of Grade 5 math and science. The ideal candidate will hold appropriate certifications and demonstrate successful teaching experience in the intermediate grades. Experience with workshop model and inquiry-based instruction, a thorough understanding of the common core standards, the ability to collaborate within and among teams, experience with planning and implementing Response to Intervention, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment, collaborative parent communication and experience using data to inform instruction are all necessary. Experience with REVEAL Math and Mystery Science preferred but not required.
Elementary School Certification 020 preferred. Certifications for “Middle Level 5-8 Content Endorsements” are acceptable.
