8th Grade SCIENCE/STEM TEACHER
(2023/2024 school year)
The Lisbon School Department is currently seeking a highly qualified educator to join the Philip W. Sugg Middle School as the new 8th grade science/STEM teacher. The successful candidate will responsible for collaborating across grade level teams and providing experiment and phenomena-based science instruction. The candidate will also participate in district-wide technology program development with other technology integration educators. Any potential candidate should strive to foster in their students the tenets of creativity, curiosity and growth mindset while providing a safe, supportive learning environment. Experience using the NGSS OpenSciEd program and former experience in providing STEM learning preferred but not required.
Certification Requirements: Applicable certifications for Middle Level (5-8) Endorsement for science 020, 350, or 395 acceptable.
